Ash Wednesday - Shiny, Happy, Dusty People

Human beings do not like being unhappy. We don’t like feeling vulnerable, scared, or uncomfortable either. We never have. It is all the more remarkable, therefore, given our history of avoidance, that we Christians gather every year on this day, Ash Wednesday.
