Feeling blue or overwhelmed this Advent season?
While the secular world tells us this is the season for joy and shopping, for many people this is a season of grief and sadness as they anticipate spending the holidays without loved ones or not being able to celebrate normally because of illness or injury. On Monday, December 16th, Rev. Elizabeth D. McLean will be holding a wholeness service for all who are feeling a bit broken in body, mind, or spirit, (as well as for those who want to give special thanks to God.) This intimate service is not like a Sunday morning service. Through prayer, laying on of hands by the elders, and anointing, participants connect with God and are strengthened by the community. You do not need to be a member to participate. Just call the church office (410-721-2313) to say you are coming. Please arrive at 6:30 p.m. The service lasts 20-30 minutes depending on the number of participants.
