Join us Sunday, May 20th, for Pentecost!

On the Day of Pentecost, we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit descending among the Apostles and other followers of Jesus to inspire the church’s proclamation of Christ’s rising.  It is considered to be the birth of the Church.  One tradition is to wear red clothing to church!

Everyone is invited to a potluck picnic immediately following our 10:30 a.m. worship service.  The main course of hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided by the Deacons and cooked by Boy Scout Troop 731.  POP congregants are asked to bring a side dish and/or dessert to share.  Feel free to bring a friend to share in the fellowship!  (Visiting POP? All are welcome!  Just come, meet, and eat!)
