Join us for an afternoon of learning about food and justice issues in Cameroon with Mr. Jaff Bamenjo, the Coordinator of RELUFA, one of the Joining Hands programs of the Presbyterian Church. Created in 2001, RELUFA is a coalition of twenty non-profit organizations who have joined together “to fight poverty, hunger, and economic, social and environmental injustice on a national level.” (http://www.relufa.org/en/mission-and-objectives)
A community luncheon will be served at 11:45 a.m. in Fellowship Hall, with a presentation in the sanctuary at 1:00 p.m. Both events are free, but a free will offering will be collected following the presentation to support the work of RELUFA. Donations to help defray the cost of the luncheon will also be gratefully accepted.
For our planning purposes, please pre-register for the luncheon by September 19. You may use this form or call the church office at (410) 721-2313 (if you are registering more than one person, it is more efficient to call). You do not need to pre-register if you are only attending the presentation portion of the event.
